This excerpt/scene shows a sale is being made every time whether you like it or not, or know it or not. We are all in sales. You are either selling yourself, your dreams, your wants, your ideas, your beliefs, or a myriad of other things associated with daily living.

For Sales Professionals, this scene stresses and magnifies the truth about sales. Every time you make a sales call, if you're not closing the sale you have just been suckered into accepting your prospects sales pitch. Either way a sale will be made. Who's will it be?

Tip: Recite this script with an edge and passion (put your emotion and angst behind it) in a private or secluded area before every sales call (even lock yourself in a toilet cubicle if you have to and tell yourself this with conviction) and observe how your sales sky rocket :)

Where am I now?

Fast forward to today...

It is 2 days after the National Achievers Congress held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. Close to 3000 eager participants had two full days of power packed learning from an assembly of the best speakers, trainers and strategist from around the world.

First up was Steven Colmar, who’s topic was Real Estate Money. He teaches from a personal results based platform, and by using his own advanced and creative strategies was able to, in just 3 years, secure over 40 properties, settling 26 of these to a value of over USD10 million by himself and through various partnerships.

Now a proud owner of a bank, he has very generously agreed with Richard Tan (top pic), CEO of Success Resources, to teach his cutting edge strategies to Success Resources' NAC graduates absolutely FREE of Charge! Thank you Steven and Richard. This is amazing and I'll be seeing you both there on the 3rd of May 2008.

Next up was Roger Hamilton, Founder and CEO of XL Results foundation, (this pic). Now, in his retirement he has committed himself to a vision of World Wide Wealth: studying and teaching the concept of making money to give away. He spoke on Your Life, You Legacy; The 5 Keys. Roger is the creator of Wealth Dynamics, a powerful wealth profiling system that enables individuals to determine their wealth profile; the path of least resistance to wealth. He also heads one of the largest entrepreneurs networks in the world of which I am a part of. Members of note include billionaire, Mark Victor Hansen of Chicken Soup for the Soul series fame and Eric Edmeades a Canadian entrepreneur, author and an inspiring professional speaker and consultant now turned philanthropist.

Steve Linder (bottom pic) came on next, speaking on 7 steps to achieving Performance. Among others, Steve is an NLP Master Practitioner and a Master Time Line Therapy Practitioner and Trainer. He has used these skills to go from waiter to Vice President of E*TRADE, Bank of America. His, is a story that says, "if I can do it, so can you!" You are an inspiration and a true model of success.

The final speaker of day 1 was none other than Blair Singer (second last pic), Rich Dad Advisor and Founder of Sales Partners Worldwide, an international training franchise that delivers guaranteed success strategies that have helped thousands of individuals and businesses increase their income through building championship teams and sales. Blair is the author of 2 best selling books: SalesDogs and the ABC's of How to Build A Business Team That Wins which are part of the Rich Dad Advisors series that includes Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki who incidentally will be the featured speaker at next year's NAC, the 17th installation.

The final event of the day was a Cocktail Reception hosted by Roger Hamilton's XL Results Foundation where he spoke on XL's Vision 2020; World Wide Wealth.
I finally enrolled as a member of this elite network after a 2 year plus wait. One Clap! Success!!

The following morning's events kick started with the ever green Joe Girard. Joe went from living in poverty in Detroit to becoming the no. 1 salesman in the world for 12 consecutive years selling 13001 brand new cars as attested by the Guiness Book of World Records! Wow!!
His topic was "How to Sell anything to anybody." Joe is an awesome motivational speaker and a best selling author of numerous books. This video clip is a testament to his salesmanship as well as his showmanship.

His passion, his undying and unrelenting determination and his hunger for success and achievement was second to non. His persona and zest for life is just amazing. You are the perfect person to model, Joe. I Love You , Joe!!

From Zero to Millionaire, T. Harv Eker was due next and he got everyone in the auditorium roaring for success and singing to his tune with his unique style. Eker, who is the best selling author of 'Secrets of the Millionaire Mind' and 'Speed Wealth' spoke about 'The psychology of Success.' He teaches how to reset your money blueprint to win the money game.

Harv did the nearly unthinkable when he invited ALL, and I repeat that, ALL of the nearly 3000 participants to attend his 'Millionaire Mind Intensive' between 23rd - 25th May at absolutely no cost at all... YUP! Absolutely FREE of Charge!! He says this is his way of giving back to society because he wants to see that each and everyone of us there at NAC to become Rich and Successful. WOW!! I am definately looking forward to this event :)

Adam Ginsberg came on next and delivered his 'Secrets of an auction Millionaire' talk about how to buy, sell and make a fortune on eBay. His unique selling strategy of combining scarcity and a 'countdown timer' ensured that most of the seats for his forthcoming seminar in August was almost sold out before he even finished his delivery.

Last but certainly not least on came "Gapping up.. up, up and away..." Dr. Clemen Chiang who made his fortune from Options Trading and Investing and is now empowering people to do like wise through his 'Live Freely' Seminars. The effectiveness of his 'Freely Method' have been featured on Channel News Asia, The Business Times, The Savvy Investor and many other highly regarded financial publications.

At last years NAC, Dr. Chiang made a prediction concerning the decline of the U.S. economy and a global recession due to hit in 2009. Currently the U.S. is already in recession and he unveiled statistics to prove that we are well on our way to facing one of the toughest times in this modern era. His advice? "If you're not in one of these 12 industries, get into them!" What are they?

Overall, NAC was yet again an event filled with new learning, ideas, possibilities, connections and the plain old 'pump me up' motivation and inspiration that we all need from time to time. I certainly feel my value as a person has increased. I know for a fact that I have raised my networking platform by becoming a member of XL.

Did I spend any money? What do you think? I went there telling myself not to sign up for any more courses...

What I can say is, I invested in my future.

And to me, this is money well spent.

Who am I?

Let’s rewind back a little, to the year 2006, July 26th to be precise (17:41pm) 

This intro that I wrote for my biography will give you an insight.
My next update will tell of where I am today, fast forward to the present day almost 2 years on…

As I sit here and write this I am now 32 yrs old, less than 2 months shy of my 33rd birthday. I have been back home now for 3 yrs and 1 month from my adventures as a “single” person since I left home at a not so tender age of 17, living all across the country of my birth, neighbouring countries and then in Europe where I had the rare opportunity to work on super yachts and travel the Mediterranean for free; actually being paid excellent tax free money to see far away and exotic places. I have done and experienced things in my life that most can only dream of……
especially considering from where I come from. But I’ll tell you about my humble beginnings later……

I have been told countless times by friends that each chapter of my life can be made into book (Biography). I personally think that some chapters of my life can be made into a Hollywood movie!! Thus, the writing of this book. Friends and associates have told me before that I should write a book and chronicle all of the adventures I’ve had in life on my short existence on this earth. I’ve always wanted to do so…… Started writing and stopped…… Started recording and stopped….. Does this sound familiar to you? If you’re anything like me, then we share a common problem... Procrastination and the lack of persistency! I have resolved to complete the 1st chapter of my book by the 8th August 2006. The problem is where to start…..?? I guess the most logical place to start is right at the beginning….. right? Not in this story….. let me take you by another route….. Let’s start from present, let me tell you just where I am in my life right now…..

As I am writing this, I have embarked on yet another new chapter in my Life….. I have two current businesses, 1 growing, the other dying….. I broke off with my most recent girlfriend with whom I started 1 of my businesses with on the 16th of June just passed. I now am living with my parents in the town where I was born but dislike (always have!!) (I left my “home town” when I was 8 and after a full circle returned here when I was 30).

People view me as a friendly, outgoing, relatively successful albeit very different and unusual personality, particularly denoted by the 2 earrings that hang from my left earlobes. Other than that I don’t speak the language of my people... so, most view me as a little of an oddity when it comes to this. However I am reasonably Good Looking and always carry myself and conduct myself well in public. I’d like to think I give people a good impression especially after they’ve given me a chance for themselves to know me; this is normally after their initial scepticism of how I look like, in a pretty conservative society.

I’m in a phase of revamping my life in all areas for the better.
I have hit a treasure road map of success in the book Think and Grow Rich! And honestly and sincerely believe that if and when I put into practice all the principles in this book, that my entire, long postponed and over due dreams and goals will become a true reality. This book has started me thinking and planning again and 1 of the reasons why I am currently writing this autobiography/book. I strongly recommend TAGR to anyone who wants to drastically alter your own life for the better in which ever way and especially if you have Ambition, Goals and Dreams and you want to see these translated into reality. Heck, if I could do it, anyone with half a brain and will, can definitely do so as well. Well, I’m putting the book, its principles and myself to the test, so you’ll definitely be in the know pretty soon!! A bankrupt, Arthur Nash, employed what is known as the Carnegie secret to astounding success. Will I do the same? Only time will tell…..

I don’t know what the future holds….. But I do know that I have the keys to my own destiny in my hands to open all the locked doors before me….. The question is, will I use all of them and unlock my full potential as a human being? In a weird way, I’ve always gotten from life everything I asked for if I really had the true desire for it. This brings me to the philosophy of how I’ve lived my life till recently.

When I was in my teens I asked Joseph (you’ll read more of his story later), why he lived his life the way he did?? The answer... “Why live life, if you’re not living life on the edge!!” I took this saying (Live Life on the Edge!!) to heart as a young impressionable teenager and lived life on the edge to the max... thus the beginnings of my colourful and extraordinary life!!!

What’s gonna be so fascinating about this book? Is there a moral to the story? Is there a point at all in me writing this book? Well, I’m gonna bring you on a journey that will cover the good and bad of life, the beautiful and ugly, the nice and scary….. a journey that crosses path with the spiritual and super natural. A story about greed, vanity, pride, desperation, sex, drugs, rock & roll, techno, hit mans but also of ambition, love, family, hopes and aspiration, joy and impending success in the face of mounting adversities. Excerpt from my upcoming book

During the writing of this book, my notebook together with all my back up systems, along with all my personal development materials including my nearly completed material for this book and the book writing course I bought and signed up for was unlawfully taken from me in a car break in incident. I had lost years of work, not to mention invaluable information which is just priceless.

To many, that would have been a striking blow, a devastating outcome that could have very well derailed them indefinitely. In that moment and the days that followed, I made a conscious decision to not react impulsively to the situation but rather to respond to the matter at hand in a calm, calculated and matured manner.

How I handled the entire situation even surprised myself. The monetary value lost was huge and as mentioned earlier, the information that was lost was and still is priceless. However, the lessons learned from that incident were also priceless in itself. It showed me how I’ve grown as a person, a human being and also a child of God.

It proved to me that all of the effort that I had put in to improve myself and be a better person had really paid off. This in itself and the many other lessons that came along with my mistake of even allowing that incident to ever take place in the first place has been a blessing and priceless, that turned out to be defining moments in my life.
Can you see yourself responding to a setback as such and also overcoming this in a similar fashion with a positive outlook?

I could very well had reacted to this situation in a very different manner (which is how the vast majority would have reacted) and you wouldn’t be reading this right now because that could very well have led to a failure that could have sunk me!!

I bet some of you at this moment must be thinking, “yeah, it’s because you’re you and you’ve had experience in this kind of matters and I’m nothing compared to you… etc, etc, etc” You’re right! It’s precisely because it’s me and I have the training and the experience and depth to cope with this. But didn’t I have to start somewhere? Only a year ago, I would have dealt with this in an entirely different manner that would not have been too graceful...

My point is, you too can through learning and training which will be later translated into experience raise your level to also be able to confront anything you wish to in a positive and transforming manner. The choice is entirely up to you. It is your God given right to think and to choose and to act in a certain way! But choose wisely for it is your life you’re playing with...

With that said, the purpose of this book is first to provide you with the foundation of awareness that comes with the information provided within these pages which will translate into your knowledge. With the continuous application of your learnings, wisdom then follows.

This book will serve as a guide, your personal manual towards the attainment of Happiness, Health, Wealth and Success.
